Roobet General Terms and Definitions

These Betting Rules (“Rules”) govern the acceptance of bets, the settlement of winnings, dispute resolution procedures, provisions specific to sports betting markets, and all other matters arising between Roobet and its customers. The Rules apply to bets placed through the Roobet website, the mobile platform, and any retail betting outlets where such services are made available. Acceptance of these Rules is confirmed when a bet is placed or the services are otherwise used. Customers are encouraged to read this document carefully before registering an account or placing a bet.

Key Definitions

  • Bet: a wager placed by a customer on the outcome of a sporting event, market, or other offer available through the platform, accepted in accordance with these Rules;
  • Outcome: the final result of an event, market, or selection, determined by official sources and used as the basis for settlement;
  • Customer: an individual holding a registered account who meets the eligibility requirements described in these Rules;
  • Bet Cancellation: the voiding of a bet by Roobet, before or after settlement, due to error, technical fault, breach of the Rules, or other circumstances set out in this document;
  • Regular Time: the standard playing duration of a sporting event, excluding extra time, penalties, or additional periods, unless the specific market states otherwise.

Where a term used elsewhere in these Rules is not defined above, it carries its ordinary meaning within the context of online betting and gaming.

General Terms

The following provisions set out the general operational rules applied to all Roobet customers in Australia. These Rules cover eligibility, jurisdictional restrictions, account use, bet acceptance and settlement, void bets, payment of winnings, and the bookmaker’s rights where integrity or technical concerns arise.

Eligibility and Jurisdiction

Only adults who have reached the legal age for gambling in their place of residence, 18 years in Australia, may register an account or place a bet. Customers are responsible for confirming that access to Roobet’s services is permitted under the laws that apply to them. Registration does not, by itself, confirm that use of the account is lawful in every location, and access may be restricted where local regulation requires it.

Account Use and Bet Acceptance

Each customer is permitted to hold one account only, and bets must be placed personally, not through an agent or on behalf of another person. Roobet reserves the right to refuse, void, or settle a bet at its discretion where a pricing error, technical malfunction, suspected fraud, or integrity concern is identified. A bet placed through the account confirms that the customer accepts these Rules and any applicable market terms.

Settlement, Void Bets and Payment of Winnings

Bets are settled according to the official outcome of the relevant event or market. Where a bet is voided, the stake is returned to the customer’s account balance. Winnings are credited once settlement is confirmed and any required verification has been completed. Payment of winnings may be delayed where additional checks are necessary under these Terms or under applicable law.

Suspicious Activity and Match-Fixing

Roobet monitors betting patterns to identify suspicious activity, including conduct that may indicate match-fixing or other breaches of sporting integrity. Where such activity is suspected, Roobet may withhold payment, void affected bets, suspend the account involved, and report the matter to the relevant sporting body, regulator, or law enforcement agency.

Bookmaker Rights and Amendments

Roobet reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time. Updated versions take effect once published on the website, and continued use of the services after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Rules. Roobet’s liability in connection with the services is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

General Betting Rules

Once a bet has been accepted, it is final and cannot be altered or withdrawn by the customer, except where a Cash Out option is available and used before the event concludes. Stake limits, minimum and maximum bet amounts, and odds offered on any market are set and may be changed by Roobet at its discretion, including after a bet has been placed but before it has been accepted into the system.

Bet acceptance occurs only once the wager has been confirmed and recorded in the customer’s account history. A bet displayed as pending or unconfirmed does not carry any guarantee of acceptance, and Roobet is not liable for wagers that fail to process due to connectivity issues, server delays, or other technical circumstances outside its direct control.

Settlement of a bet takes place once the official result of the relevant event or market has been confirmed. Where an event is postponed, abandoned, or rescheduled outside the original timeframe, affected bets may be voided and the stake returned, unless the specific market rules state that the bet remains valid regardless of rescheduling. Bets may also be declared void where a pricing error, a known outcome at the time of placement, a technical malfunction, or a breach of these Rules is identified.

Winnings are calculated based on the stake placed and the odds confirmed at the time of bet acceptance. Where Cash Out or Auto Cash Out features are available on a given market, their availability, pricing, and any applicable restrictions are determined solely by Roobet and may be withdrawn or adjusted without prior notice. Use of Cash Out does not guarantee a specific return, and the value offered reflects current market conditions at the time of the request.

Roobet retains the right to suspend betting on any market, adjust odds, or close a market entirely where irregular betting activity, a change in event circumstances, or a technical issue is identified. Such action does not affect bets already validly accepted and settled prior to the suspension.

Accounts, Deposits and Withdrawals

Registration of an account requires accurate and complete personal information, including full name, date of birth, and contact details. Each customer may hold only one account, and the creation of duplicate accounts, whether by the same person or using false details, constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension of all associated accounts and forfeiture of funds held within them.

Identity verification, commonly referred to as Know Your Customer or KYC, forms part of the account approval process. Roobet may request documentation confirming identity, age, address, and the source of funds at any stage of the relationship, including prior to processing a withdrawal. Failure to provide requested documentation within a reasonable period may result in restricted account access or delayed payment of funds.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details and for all activity conducted through their account. Any suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly. Use of the account for purposes other than genuine betting activity is not allowed. Roobet reserves the right to suspend or close an account, void associated bets, and withhold withdrawals where fraud, misuse of a bonus or promotion, provision of false information, collusion, or any other violation of these Terms is identified or reasonably suspected.

Deposits are processed through the payment methods made available on the platform, and minimum or maximum limits may apply depending on the method selected. Withdrawals are subject to the completion of identity and payment verification, and funds are generally returned using the same method used for deposit, where this is possible. Roobet may apply withdrawal limits, request additional verification, or delay payment where an investigation into account activity is underway. During such an investigation, Roobet may restrict account access and withhold affected funds until the matter has been resolved.

Responsible Gambling

Roobet supports responsible participation in betting and gaming activities and provides tools to help customers manage their behaviour. Early recognition of the signs of problem gambling reduces the risk of harm, and regular review of personal habits is recommended for every customer.

Available Controls

  • Deposit and betting limits, which let a customer set daily, weekly, or monthly caps on account activity;
  • Self-exclusion, which lets a customer restrict access to the account for a defined period or on a permanent basis;
  • Session reminders and activity alerts, which prompt review of time spent on the platform;
  • Self-assessment tools, used to identify patterns associated with risk of harm.

Support Resources

Customers in Australia experiencing difficulty controlling their gambling can access independent support through the following services:

  • Gambling Help Online, which offers counselling and information at gamblinghelponline.org.au;
  • Lifeline Australia, which provides crisis support on 13 11 14;
  • BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, which allows exclusion from all licensed online wagering services in Australia.

Customers unable to manage their gambling activity are encouraged to contact one of the above services or to apply self-exclusion directly through their account settings.

Anti-Money Laundering

Roobet applies anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing measures in line with applicable regulatory standards. These measures are designed to prevent the platform from being used, directly or indirectly, for the laundering of proceeds of crime or the financing of terrorism.

Identity Verification

Account holders may be required to complete identity verification, commonly known as Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, before deposits, withdrawals, or certain account activities are permitted. Verification may include confirmation of identity, address, date of birth, and, where relevant, the source of funds used for betting.

Transaction Monitoring

Account activity, including deposits, withdrawals, and betting patterns, is monitored on an ongoing basis to detect transactions that appear inconsistent with a customer’s profile or that display characteristics associated with money laundering or fraud. Monitoring tools are reviewed and updated to reflect current regulatory expectations and emerging risk indicators.

Consequences of Breach

Where suspicious activity is identified, or where a customer fails to provide requested verification documentation, Roobet reserves the right to restrict account access, freeze or withhold funds, delay or refuse withdrawals, and, where required, report the matter to the relevant financial intelligence unit or regulatory authority. These measures apply irrespective of the amount involved or the customer’s account history.

Privacy and Management of Personal Data

Roobet collects, processes, and stores personal data in order to provide its services, verify customer identity, process payments, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations. Personal data may include name, date of birth, contact details, payment information, and records of account activity.

Consent and Use of Data

Registration of an account, and continued use of the services, confirms consent to the collection and processing of personal data as described in this section and in Roobet’s Privacy Policy. Data collected is used for account administration, identity verification, fraud prevention, customer support, and, where consent has been given, marketing communications. Customers may withdraw marketing consent at any time through account settings or by contacting customer support.

Cookies

Roobet uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember account preferences, and analyse platform usage. Cookie settings can be adjusted through browser controls, though disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the services.

Sharing and International Transfer

Personal data may be shared with payment providers, identity verification services, regulatory bodies, and other external parties where necessary to deliver the services or meet legal obligations. Where data is transferred outside Australia, Roobet applies safeguards intended to maintain a standard of protection equivalent to that required under Australian privacy law.

Customer Rights

Customers have the right to request access to the personal data held about them, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to request deletion of data where retention is no longer required for legal or operational purposes. Requests can be submitted through customer support and are handled in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Security

Roobet applies technical and organisational measures to protect personal and financial data processed through the platform. Data transmitted between a customer’s device and Roobet’s servers is encrypted, and account information is stored on secure servers protected by firewall systems and restricted access controls.

Partner and Service Provider Standards

Payment processors, identity verification providers, and other external service providers engaged by Roobet are required to maintain security standards consistent with industry practice before being granted access to customer data.

Limitations of Internet Transmission

No method of data transmission over the internet is completely free of risk. Roobet applies recognised security measures, though no system can guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access, interception, or technical failure occurring outside its own infrastructure.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for protecting their own login credentials, devices, and network connections when accessing the platform. Use of a secure, private connection when transmitting personal or payment information is recommended, and shared or unsecured networks should be avoided wherever possible.
